Regular Season Finale
The team would face off against Wallaceburg on the Mooretown home ice.

The team would battle with a full roster minus Brady Bogaert who at the the time of this writing was sipping tequila and chatting up some Mexican bikinis in the Yucatan.

The Lakers would bite quickly beating Shaw top corner within the first 30 seconds of the faceoff but the Storm would fight back to tie the game mid-frame courtesy of Dunn and some assistance from Passingham. The refs would bring out the whistles towards the end of the period but neither team would convert going to the second period. The middle frame would go scoreless but would definitely be a display of physicality and grit. The Storm would step up  felling many a tree in the Wallaceburg forest satisfying the fans with their determination. With the score still tied in the third, Dumoulin would be robbed by the opponent netminder just prior to Wallaceburg taking the lead as a result of Shaw being fed to the wolves by his team breaking down in front of him. Not happy with his first performance, Williams would feed Dumoulin who would give it another go going end to end pulling off a deke to bend the twine to once again make it a tie game at two. Unfortunately though, the Lakers would score two that would go answered and Mooretown would take the loss at 4-2.

The boys played a good game giving it all of their effort and now await their schedule as it sets to play within the B group for the upcoming playoffs.

Go Storm!
