SEASON RECAP..........
The Peewee Tri-County Mooretown Storm would cap off the season last weekend with a win against their rival Petrolia Oilers. The team would have an up and down year with some great successes but also some disappointing losses where the team should have come out on top.
The team would enter two tournaments, one in Strathroy at the John Henry where they took third place and the other being the March Break Classic in Niagara on the Lake but unfortunately the boys would run into teams who were hungrier for the wins. Nonetheless, the boys had fun in the ‘Falls’ and soaking up Clifton Hill with their teammates.
Hockey Day in Mooretown would see four players garner awards for their efforts throughout the season:
Most Improved (tie): Jacob Johnston, Brady Bogaert
Most Dedicated: Braiden Shaw
Most Sportsmanlike: Tristan Dumoulin
Thanks to the coaching and management staff for their efforts and also to those who volunteered behind the scenes including the MTMHA and the fans who supported the team throughout the year.
