League Playoffs Begin
The Atom AE Storm faced Mt Brydges on the road to begin their home and home playoff series against Mt Brydges and West Lorne.  Mt Brydges came our hard in the 1st period leaving the Storm in a hole that was too big to dig out of.

The Storm came out flat and were not able to control the play at all in the 1st period as Mt Brydges scored 4 unanswered goals.

In the second period the Storm woke up and played much better hockey than they did in the first.  They kept Mt Brydges to a single goal making the score 5-0 after 2.

Mooretown would get on the scoreboard in the 3rd when Ryan Nicholson would find MacKenzie Lumley, in the slot,  who would fire a nice wrist shot past the Mt Brydges goalie. Mt Brydges would add a few more goals in the 3rd keeping the game out of reach for the Storm.

A big pat on the back goes out to Aden Bogaert who most agree played his best game of the season.  Good work Aden!

The Atom AE Storm will get a chance for revenge when Mt Brydges makes the trip to Mooretown on Saturday.

The coaching staff would like to see everyone out to practice this week to prepare for the next few games.
