Playoffs Continue as Storm Host Mt Brydges
The Mt Brydges Cougars would come to town for game #2 of the Storm's league playoffs. Mt Brydges would once again get the best of the Storm beating the Storm by a final score of 6-1.
The Storm would come out looking a little flat at the beginning of the game. Although the Cougars dominated most of the 1st period, some great play in net by Travis Morningstar would keep the score manageable at 2-0.
The 2nd period would look similar to the first as Mt Brydges would put 3 goals on the board making the score 5-0.
The Storm would wake up and play better hockey in the 3rd period resulting in each team scoring a goal. The Storm goal would be scored by MacKenzie Lumley who took a centering pass from Ryan Nicholson.
The Storm, with only a couple hours rest, will face the Aamjiwnaang Jr Hitmen later in the day in an exhibition game.
