Storm vs Aamjiwnaang Jr Hitmen
The Storm would play a Sat night game in Mooretown, but this time as the visiting team. The Aamjiwnaang Jr Hitmen would be the opponent with the Storm missing two key defensemen. Dewhirst would be in Sarnia picking up pointers while watching the Sting and Crowley would be the opposition on this night.
The Storm would mix things up and give some of the D-men the opportunity to play forward and some of the forwards got the opportunity to play the point. Cadence Harrison and Aden Bogaert played a good game as centers and seemed to enjoy the new roles for the night. Ryan Nicholson and Noah O'Neil would get a chance to play defense. A couple "AP" players, Riley Morningstar and Travis Nicholson, would step in to help fill out the Storm roster.
The game was a good back and forth affair and the Storm moved the puck as well as we've seen them all year.
The game sheet wasn't available so I have no details on assists, however Storm goals were tallied by "Hunsty" Hunt, "Newf" Lahey and "Rattlesnake" Nicholson. Final Score was 4-3 for Hitmen, but more importantly it was a fun night out for the players on both teams. Crowley, who doesn't usually have a lot to say most weeks, made his way into the Storm dressing room after the game to rub in the loss to the Storm players.
