Battling the 'Burg
The game would be slightly delayed as the Lakers would have to borrow the team's away jerseys to get the game underway.

The Storm would have to deal with a hot Wallaceburg goalie as their scoring efforts would be stymied in the first. The Lakers would have the only marker of the period which certainly wasn't from lack of Storm effort. The chances were there but so were the quick blockers and pads courtesy of the the Laker netminder.

Mooretown would finally bust the goose egg on the board with an unassisted goal by Jaxon Priddle. The Storm would get plenty of more chances but couldn't add to the count. The game continued to be tight and the team was playing well with everyone doing their part. The defense and Petrie were solid with the forwards driving hard to the net but still ensuring they were getting back quick to help out the D. The game would still be tied at one headed to the third but the Storm seemed to be taking over with their skill and skating game.

Early in the final frame and with Mooretown on the PK, Priddle would bust in and with the help of Hagan and Carter Foster deposit the puck in the Wallaceburg net to take the lead at 2-1. The Storm would use that momentum to continue to pressure and although it wasn't easy would defend the lead for the rest of the game while still pelting the 'Burg goalie with rubber.

Mooretown would come out on top and will now rest up until they face their next playoff opponent in two weeks time.
