Cut by the Blades
After a two week hiatus, the team could continue its playoff run at the Mooretown barn against Blenheim.
The opponent would come hard and it was obvious from the get-go that the Storm would have its hands full. Blenheim would strike twice in the first period despite Petrie's strength in the net. Mooretown would cut the lead in the second with a goal by Priddle assisted by Colby Stewart. Mooretown continued to be outplayed and couldn't overcome Blenheim's zone dominance. The Blades would bust it open in the third scoring three unanswered goals to put the game out of reach at 5-1.
The team will have to regroup as it hits the road at the week's end visiting Wallaceburg and Blenheim just prior to The March Break Classic Tournament in Niagara on the Lake.
