Taming the Predators
The Storm Novice Rep team faced off against the visiting Lambton Shores Predators on Thursday night.
This game would be the first of three in a row before the boys donned their Santa hats for the holiday break.
Most of the first period saw a scoreless board but once the Storm opened up a lead, the team took over with its dominating play. Mooretown outskated the Predators from start to finish with the defense passing the puck around the blue line while the forwards battled around the net getting the chances and earning some nice goals via their quality teamwork . Joseph was a solid backstop between the pipes making the quick saves when needed and supporting the team ahead of him in their well-played 6-2 victory.
That win will hopefully give the lads some momentum for tonight's game against the Strathroy Rockets on their home ice.
