Cash Calendars
Hockey Moms have introduced Cash Calendars this year that are to be sold for $15.00 each. The Cash Calendars are replacing the Grocery Grab tickets fundraiser. Each player has been given 3 calendars to sell and are to hand the money and ticket stubs back in to their Hockey Mom (me) within the next couple of weeks. If you have multiple children playing you are not required to sell Cash Calendars for each of them but if you are willing and able that would be great! There are only 1300 Cash Calendars available so they will be in high demand. If there are families willing to sell more please let me know.
The winning names will be posted weekly on the website and cheques will be mailed to the winner. Please make sure name and addresses are complete and correct on the stubs you hand in. For next season it has been recommended that the Cash Calendars cost be put in with the registration fee. If you feel that will work best please share your opinion with the MTMHA Executive.
Storm Supplies Raffle
Our team is required to collect $3.00 from each player to contribute to the prizes for the “Storm” Supply Raffle as well as sell our books of tickets. Please hand this money into me as well. The tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. We only have 5 books to sell so if you are interested in selling (or buying – the prizes are worth it) please see me. This raffle sells out quickly so get your tickets soon!
The Draw will be December 17th.
Volunteer Hours (tournaments, etc…)
MTMHA will be using the sign-up board in the lobby once again for you to select your volunteering preferences. It is up to each individual to write themselves in a time slot as teams are not being assigned blocks this year. You are still only required to work 4 hours to receive your $200.00 Volunteer Fee refund. If you sign up for 4 hours please work them. If you are not able to work all 4 hours or need to step away during your shift it is up to you to arrange coverage while you are away.
In order to run our events in an organized and efficient manner a lot of help is needed. Even if you have already completed your 4 hours please be open-minded about volunteering your time beyond what is required. Having these events run well, with involvement from everyone, helps keep our association costs down.
