Close, but.....
The team was off to St Thomas visiting the Stars on their own ice hoping to steal a win.
Although the team was still hampered by a depleted roster, the Peewee's showed signs of promise throughout the match. The boys were on their 'A' game keeping the Stars on their toes and providing an entertaining game for the fans, both visiting and home.
The score would be tied at one for most of the three periods until St Thomas scored with just 45 seconds remaining on the final frame clock. It was a hard to swallow loss for the team but the upside was that they seemed to finally be getting it in gear proving that they really can play as a team and being able to challenge those teams ahead of them in the standings.
Next up is the Ilderton Jets who visit the Storm tomorrow at 3:55 pm. Go Storm!
