Ho Ho Ho!
Coming off a well deserved win against the Wallaceburg Lakers, the team travelled to Petrolia with hopes of continuing their winning ways.
The coaching staff kept the mix up varying the lines once again, a plan that seemed to work against the Lakers. Unfortunately though the Storm found themselves down two goals early. The boys seemed to be skating hard but had trouble moving the puck out of their zone in order to their offensive punch going. Not giving up and with some time, the boys found their groove and tied the game up bringing a spark back into their game. Momentum would serve them well as the tides had turned giving Brant a break in net and sending most of the chances down to the Petrolia end. Mooretown's grit and grind would provide ultimate success with some digging around the net that led to the winning goal.
It was a hard fought victory against the higher ranked team of the Oilers and a nice finish before the boys kick up their feet awaiting the white bearded gentleman.
