Sunk Like a Rock
Beginning the OMHA playdowns against the St Mary's Rock, the team hoped that they would have better luck with this venue which seemed to be cursed.
The AEs stayed in the game for most the first and second period until the Rock would bust it open. Mooretown had a hard time keeping the puck out of the opponent's clutches causing St Marys to take advantage racking up the goals to put the game out of reach. The curse would prove itself once again with a slanted ice surface surprising the visiting fans that their players weren't slipping right down into the bowels of the opponent's grip. Unfortunately however, the slide would catch a hold of a mother and son team who got caught in the trap and were sent to purgatory. Sadly, nobody heard a thing as they were swept away without saying goodbye translating into more victims of the St Mary's curse.
