Novice Girls Take Silver at London Devilettes Tournament (watch all 5 games)

The Novice Lady Flags took to the ice on 5 different rinks over the weekend at the London Devilettes Hockey Tournament. A great effort was given by the entire team. The Flags lost there first game against the London Black Devilettes 6-2. The Flags won their next 2 games 4-0 and 9-3 to earn a spot in the semifinal. They met London Orange Devilettes in the semifinal at 7:30am Sunday morning winning 2-0. The final was a rematch vs London Black on the big Ice that makes MSC 2 look like a backyard rink. The girls took the game into the third period tied 2-2 after tying it up with 2 quick Goals midway through the 2nd. Unfortunately the London Black team was able to regain the lead with 3 goals early in the third and held the flags scoreless in the 3rd. The girls Collected some more Hardware on the day with their second Tournament Championship of the season.
