Playoff Game 1 vs. Wallaceburg 1
Tonight’s game would be held in Wallaceburg where Brady K would wear the 3rd A for his outstanding work this season and commitment to team work.  He would like give a shout out to his dad Ted and wish him a Happy Birthday!

After a 2 week break from hockey, Mooretown Red would come out slow in the game trailing 1-0 at the end of the first period.

One minute into the second period, Jace Dupuis would find the back of the net with an assist from both defensemen Kanyon Deroeven and Jacob Turner.  The well travelling and very loud Mooretown Red Hockey moms would erupt with cheer and bell ringing, giving our boys the motivation to play hard.  Red would find their groove and outshoot Wallaceburg 9-2 in the second period allowing no goals.

Mooretown Red would stick to their game plan in the third period and skate to their first victory of the playoffs!

Goals scored tonight by Jace Dupuis, Dylan Dupuis, Brady K, Ty Davis and Jacob Turner.

For the second game in a row, all defensemen recorded multiple points.  This would also mark the 5th time this season that all D-men would record a point in a single game while allowing 15 shots or less.

For the first time this year, every player on our team recorded a point in the game!!!!!!!  This is a very proud moment for our team.

Thanks again to our goalie, Logan Phillips, who kept cool and solid under pressure tonight and all season long.

Go RED!!!!
