Hello,
I hope everyone is ready for a great hockey season.
The Mooretown Tyke White roster is set and ready to go. There are a
number of items that you need to be aware of and complete as per below. Please
review.
The Coaching Staff for this year will be myself Kevin Slater, Matt Armstrong,
Jason Burgess, Geoff Dale and Joe Rodrigues.
I will post all major news and communications via the tyke

Scheduling changes will updated on the team calendar. I suggest you sign
up to sync your phone calendar with our team calendar:

Hockey Mom:
We require one more volunteer to take the hockey mom
position on our team. I am hoping to figure this out after the game on
Saturday. Please let me know if you are interested.
Hockey
Mom Representative - Each team requires a Hockey Mom Rep to act
as a liaison to their team Parents to maintain communication. We meet
once a month to discuss the events we are hosting or fundraising that we
are involved in. You would be responsible handing out cash calendar and
Christmas draw tickets, collecting the proceeds and getting to the Hockey Moms
association.
Tournament
Wallaceburg - Saturday December 10th (Mark
Weese Memorial Tyke Fun Festival)
I am planning to register for this tournament. Please
advise if your child would be available to play in the tournament that
day. The cost should be $45 to $50 per skater for the day.
Goalie:
Each week we will have a different player play goalie. We will likely set
a schedule for this. If your child does not wish to play net, they are
definitely NOT obligated to, when their turn comes up, but will be encouraged.
Goalies will practice as goalie the Sunday before the Saturday game they are
playing as goalie.
#11 Sophia Burgess will start in goal this week.
Clock & Game Sheet:
We will need to have parents volunteer to run the clock throughout the
year. You may be asked to help with this a few times through out the year.
Hockey Profiles:
Kaylen Burgess will be distributing a questionnaire so each
player can build their own Hockey Profile that will be displayed on our team
Website. She will take pictures of each child on picture day as well to
be posted.
Name On Jerseys:
Planet Stitch will put each players last name on their Jersy
for $10. I can collect them with the $10 bucks and have this done one of
these weeks.
Respect In
Sport:
1 parent from each family must complete the respect In sport
program as per below. If this is not completed by mid October Mooretown
Hockey will not allow your child to play. If you have completed this in
the past for another child, you do not have to do again.
