The boys hit the road for their final "home at home" exhibition game vs the Oilers.
During a team meeting prior to the game, our boys were made aware of a young boy who recently had a brain tumor removed. His favorite sport is hockey and his favorite colour is orange. In honour of this young boy, our boys used orange stick tape to show their support for his extremely brave battle. Lucien Nadeau, the Mooretown Jr. Flags Peewee Rep team wishes you all the best in your recovery, and a very Merry Christmas.
Also, our fellow teammate "Parky" has been out sick for the past week; the boys miss you and dedicated this game to you. They're hoping you're back on the ice real soon.
The fellas started out a little off their game tonight, falling behind 4-0. After a quick reminder from the coaches on why they were there, the peddle hit the floor and was never released. With their efforts doubled, the boys were rewarded. In the end the final score was 6-4 for the good guys.
