Rink Talk
vol. 12 - First of the new year - 2017
The first rink talk of the new year focuses on a tournament recap and our upcoming schedule.
Tournament:
The team finished up their Christmas holidays in Brantford at the Walter Gretzky Invitation Hockey Tournament. Our playoff hopes were dashed by a very hot goalie on Saturday but there were a number of positives the team could take from that tourney. Hard work was on display for most of the weekend and there were a number of great hockey plays being made. Some players tried new positions and the team helped them and they helped the team. All in All it was a fun weekend and hopefully the team carries the momentum from it.
ON the side - I missed the game but I heard the Black Terror kept it rolling and flattened a pesky Sarnia Team at home. Great work team.
This week we have a few games to fill up our time.
