First period saw the boys play their hearts out to keep
Thamesford down to a one goal lead. After
a quick inspirational talk from the coaches, the boys began the second period. Mooretown had several opportunities to take advantage
of a man advantage with no luck. One shot
rang off the post that was so loud it could be heard outside the arena.
Mooretown played their best hockey to keep Thamesford off the scoreboard except for a power play goal in the third. The most pressure Mooretown put on the visitors came during this period. Net minder Gladwish was excellent again with an amazing save percentage. The Bantam Junior Flags keep looking for that elusive first win of the season. With the way the team is coming together it shouldn’t be long.
