Sleeping Giant Wakes
It appears that after a trip to London and some not so good games played
by the team. Then losing the first game of the playoffs, has woken the
giants of the Mooretown Black.
We have won our last 3 games in dominating fashion. With 58 total points in these last 3 games being led by the combined efforts of Brad and Brandon for 18 points and the force of Sabastian and Nolan for 12 points in the last 3 games, Plus a shut out and some major key saves when needed by Travis has pushed us to first place in the playoffs. Not to be out done though Noah scored his first goal of the season with a perfect shot from behind our blue line into the middle of the empty net to help in our 10-6 win against West Lorne. Handing them their first loss in the Tri county league. Brady Krasinkiewicz has also been a key player with his 4 points as well. The last 2 games we were short handed and we need to move Zack to defence where he has been a major help in both size and his ability to stop the rushing player. Our defense in total has played great over the last few games holding the shots to 28 as an average and against the top scoring team in the league. In order to put together 2 full lines we managed to get some great help from our AP player Dylan. Thanks for your help. Every Player has multiple points over the last few and one player has turned up her game as well to get one assist and a penalty. Biidaaske has cranked up her play over the last few games and has been standing her ground and taking the puck off some of the opposing team players. Way to go Bii. The results speak for themselves when the team comes together and play together for an entire game. Keep up the great work boys and girls.
