3rd Tourney Win is Sweet - Atom Rep: Silver Stick Regional Champs
The team went 5-0-0 as Christmas time became Silver Stick time.  The Atom Jr. Flags started off with a 3-1 victory over their pesky rival, Petrolia.   Their strong play continued with a 2-0 win over an Ilderton team that avenged an early season loss.  The Atom Rep team secured first place in their division with a 3-2 triumph vs. South Kent.

Saturday will forever be legendary.   3-2 was the score of the day.  The Flags flew past Lambeth 3-2 to send the Lancers back down Highway 402 and propel themselves into the finals.  Mooretown took on a resilient Ilderton team for all the marbles.  The Flags won 3-2 to take home the victory, the championship, and the Silver Stick banner.

Garry Bennett was a technician of the tangled twine between the pipes; he was a rock between the pipes. John McLaughlin and Charlie McLaughlin were responsible and creative centres.   Tucker Ward and Holden Petrie kept their heads up and passes crisp.  Reid Whitmarsh, Ethan Rosseel, Liam Hazzard, and Teegan Holmes kept the puck moving and back checked aggressively as wingers.   Ashton Gaulton, Nolan Bourdage, Drew O'Neil, and Dillon McCowan defended the zone showing a willingness to move the puck and shut down many potent offensive talents.

The Flags were guided expertly by their head coach, Jason Bourdage.  Mark McCabe, Blair Gaulton, Mark McLaughlin and Mike McLaughlin kept encouraging the flags and focusing them on their steps to victory.
