2017-2018 Novice Lady Flags Teams
Mooretown Lady Flags

Hello Parents & Players:

Thank you all so much for coming to the tryout skates this weekend.  It’s great to see such a commitment by all the families and the smiles on the faces of all the girls throughout the weekend.  I saw improvement from all the players as the weekend went on and appreciate the hard work all the players did over the 3 days.

I am excited for both teams as I think the teams we founded this weekend are going to be very competitive at their respective levels in the 2017-2018 season. The splitting into 2 teams was not an easy task.  There was so much talent and passion on the ice, deciding on the final rosters was carefully considered and agreed upon by the coaching staff.

Coaching staff for the 2nd team is to be announced.  We have a few people that have expressed interest.  If you are interested in being on the team staff in any role (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer, Manager or Hockey Mom, please email me at [email protected] asap because we will likely meet this week to get this in order so we can start planning for next year's season.

Lady Flags will continue to accept player applications for the Novice teams until August 1, 2017. Please see registration page for more information.

Over the next couple weeks, each team will be creating a facebook page for updates and communication throughout the summer and next year’s season.

To prepare for next year, I encourage taking power skating over the summer.  This training will allow our players to gain speed and skating skills, so when hockey season starts players can better focus on learning hockey skills.
