Leaving Delhi with Finalist Banners
The PeeWee Rep Team won the Finalist 53rd Annual Tobacco Town Tournament banner.  The PeeWee Jr. Flags started off with a 3-3 tie vs. Thorold.   Their play continued to improve with a 6-0 win over Port Dover to go undefeated on Friday.  The PeeWee Rep team secured first place in their division after a 3-2 clutch victory over the host team, Delhi.

Sunday will be hard to forget.   Mooretown PeeWee Rep dominated Tilsonburg 4-1.  This propelled the Jr. Flags team into the finals.   The Flags dropped a hard fought 6-3 final game to the #1 ranked team in Ontario, St. Marys.  The hometown, Mooretown Flags took home the Finalist banner.

Nolan B. was a technician of the tangled twine between the pipes; Gus was a rock between the pipes. Owen, Kyle and Drew were moving their feet and pursuing the puck.   Jace and Colin kept their heads up, shots hard, and passes crisp.  Holden, Braeden, and Liam kept the puck moving and back checked aggressively as wingers.   Jayden, Nolan D., Ryder, and Austin defended the zone showing a willingness to move the puck and shut down many potent offensive talents.

The Flags were guided expertly by their head coach, Shannon LeBlanc.  Bryan Beaudoin, Spencer Dalgety, Marty Dewhirst, and Rodger Suddard kept encouraging the flags and focusing them on their steps to victory.
