Tryouts Information
Tryouts for U11 Tier 1 (Rep) will begin October 1, followed by sessions October 2, 3 and 5.
The October 1 session will be skills based, followed by an inter squad game on October 2. Exhibition games have been scheduled for October 3, and October 5. With a small group of registrants, there will be only 1 group.
Each player will skate October 1, October 2, and one of the exhibition games, for a total of 3 skates for each player. For the October 1 skate, please bring your assigned practice jersey from last season (red, blue, gray or white).
For the games, jerseys will be provided, and positions communicated by the coaching staff for each game. This is each players opportunity to show what they could bring to the team, and what kind of player they are.
We understand that several players will not have a lot of experience with full ice hockey, however we will be reviewing overall attitude, willingness to learn, as well as skill, and making notes accordingly. It is our expectation that respect to each other is shown throughout the tryout process, and that, at the end of tryouts, you will be teammates with each other.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the skates, and seeing everyone coming fully prepared to show their best.
