Storm vs Oilers
The Petrolia Oilers came to town on Saturday looking to knock off the Mooretown on their own ice.
The fans knew they were in for a good game as the quick pace provided good entertainment early on. Both teams seemed well matched in skating and ability but one major difference was the Oilers power play versus the Storm penalty kill. Penalties would be the Storm's demise as Petrolia scored all of its goals courtesy of the man advantage. Krohn would get the lone marker for the Storm with the rest of the team digging deep to tie it up but it was all for not as Petrolia would be the better disciplined and polished team taking a win away on Mooretown ice.
