Storm vs Comets
The Christmas break is over and the Mooretown Chargers welcomed the West Lorne Comets to the Moore Sports Complex.
The Comets showed that they have been working hard and improving their skills since the beginning of the year and were able to keep Mooretown off the scoreboard for the start of the game. However, the boys would not be denied for long as their dedication to team play would breakdown the Comets defence, putting points on the board.The coaches continued to encourage hard work and the team responded on the defensive and offensive end of the ice. The game turned chippy near the end but Mooretown showed their class by resisting the urge to retaliate and showed that they would let their skills define them as players.
