Mooretown Minor Hockey

With the open boarders, tryouts and registration will look much different this year. Please review the Mooretown Minor Hockey Association (MTMHA) Tryout and Registration Process below. We will continue to post any updates as they come, we want to ensure this is a smooth and great process for all of our players.  Tryout Registration B and B2 players must sign up to tryout their respective team. Four County players do not need to register for tryouts.

Happy Spring MTMHA! It is almost tryout time for a lot of our U11-U15 B & B2 teams and we wanted to get our some pre season information before we get started! We have a lot of exciting things happening at MTMHA, we are looking forward to welcoming back returning players as well as some new ones as well! There is a lot of information in this post, please be sure to read it all.

Our Mooretown Minor Hockey 2025 Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 2nd at 7pm above rink #1. All MTMHA members are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. The AGM is to discuss all operations and activities of MTMHA, new and old business and strategies moving forward as a membership.

On Sunday, April 27th MTMHA & TPH (Total Package Hockey) will be hosting a free checking clinic for MTMHA players in the U13 (2013/2014) and U15 (2011/2012) divisions.  U13 Clinic - 12:25-1:15pm U15 Clinic - 1:25 - 2:15pm For our U13 age players (2013/2014 birth years), the purpose of this clinic will be an introduction to the key stages and technique associated with the NCCP checking progression model and what tactics can and can't be applied at the U13 level.
