Gender Identity & Gender Expression Training

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) launched of a new training module for team officials, to support trans-inclusive hockey in Ontario, Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression last season.

There are two modules which will educate team officials on this important topic.

If you completed the Gender Identity & Gender Expression Training last season, you do NOT have to do it for this season.

At least one parent or guardian of each player registered in MTMHA must complete the online training.

Your child(ren) will not be able to be rostered on a team until the course is completed. You are required to complete this online training by October 1, 2018 (one parent per family). MTMHA encourages any parents who have not completed the program to do so prior to the beginning of the season to avoid issues when hockey starts in the fall.

Completion of thes modules is a mandatory requirement for the 2018 / 2019
season.

You will require an eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) in order to register for and complete the two Modules. Once completed, notification will be posted to the team officials’ member profile on the HCR.
