The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) are pleased to announce the launch of a new training module for team officials, to support trans-inclusive hockey in Ontario, Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression.

There are two modules which will educate team officials on this important topic. For team officials already assigned to a team, completion of these modules will be a required by October 1, 2018.

For team officials named within a month of or after October 1, they will have 30 days to complete both modules.


Completion of thes modules is a mandatory requirement to be approved to a roster for the 2018 / 2019 season.   Your team with NOT be approved until all coaching / bench staff (head coach, assistant coaches, trainers, managers & hockey moms) have completed this training. 

All team officials will require an eHockey account in the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) in order to register for and complete the two Modules. Once completed, notification will be posted to the team officials’ member profile on the HCR.

Once you have set up your account, or for those who already have an account, please click on the link below to be directed to the OHF landing page for more information on the training and to course registration (no costs).

Team officials once on landing page will access the course registration via the link and then be responsible for registering for the Gender Identity and Expression Course.  Upon registering for the clinic, team officials will receive an email with instructions for completing the modules.
