Season Success Is About Unity
Coming off back to back tournament championships, the Mooretown Atom Rep team has set the bar favourably high.

A good mix of 1st and 2nd year talent, the Atom Rep team, lead by Coach Ross Carlton has achieved great success to start the season.

At the beginning of November, the team traveled to Paris, ON where they went undefeated to capture the Ron Johnston Memorial Championship.  Hard work, skill and the willingness to be the best for each other was on display as the other teams could only watch the magic happen.

Wanting to mirror their success, Coach Carlton brought a confident group to Lincoln just two weeks later. In Lincoln the boys strung together a streak that had them once again go undefeated to hoist the championship banner in the 34th Annual Doug Robinson Tournament.  A win that in past has eluded the Jr. Flags rendering them finalists in two previous campaigns.

The resolve and determination of this year’s team was infectious and proved to be the ingredients necessary to rise to the challenge and take the championship away from the host centre that were hoping for a repeat of last year.  Another notch in this season's proverbial belt of success.

This young squad of talented boys will once again push themselves towards the end of December at the Silver Stick Qualifiers in Alvinston, ON but until then know they have a job to do within their own league.  The team has a record of 22-1-1.

We wish them all the best and want them to know how refreshing it is to watch our youth representatives playing as a team and putting the game before the prize! Its testament to them, the coaching and the parents.

Amazing!
