Congratulations to our Bantam AE team who took home the GOLD this past weekend at
The South Huron Regional International Silver Stick!
The team went 4-1-0 on the weekend, providing some exciting hockey for their fans!
The Bantam AE team started off on Friday with a 3-1 victory over Lambeth. They finished off Saturday with a 2-1 win over Mount Brydges and a tough 3-0 loss against host team, South Huron.
They came back strong on Sunday morning in the semi finals with a 2-1 win over Strathroy and this secured their spot in the finals. In the finals The Flags once again were faced with South Huron and this time they took the WIN! A 4-2 final score to take home the victory, the championship, and the Silver Stick banner.
The Bantam AE team is led by coaches, Ian Snedden, Jeff Mac Lean, Scott Poland, Justin Hagan and Aaron Ticknor.
