Two years ago today, October 17, 2017 we lost the legendary Gord Downie. We continue to hear his music in our arena, dressing rooms & in between periods and we watch a whole new generation of HIP fans start to love the music.

Last spring local artist Brent VandenBroek drew this portrait of Gord Downie entitled "Courage". He drew this in honor of his cousin who was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the same cancer that claimed Gord Downie. 53 were printed in honor of Gord's 53 years. All money raised was then donated to his cousin's young family.

MTMHA was lucky enough to purchase one of these 53 prints and we will be selling raffle tickets as one of our 2019 / 2020 fundraisers. The print will be on display at the arena from November - January.

Tickets are NOW available for purchase and will be sold through the end of January.
Tickets will be sold at 1 for $10.00 or 3 for $25.00. The draw will take place on January 31, 2020.
