Little NHL Looking for Players!
Our friends at Aamjiwnaang First Nations are currently seeking players born in 2011-2012 (U13 aged players) for their Little NHL team.

The Little Native Hockey League is a well known tournament that happens during the March Break. It’s a gathering of all First Nations in Ontario to come together and celebrate the sport we love and to offer opportunities that some players would never get to experience.

Aamjiwnaang is hoping to find our members who live off the reserve, and to recruit players from other First Nation Communities in Ontario to create our roster. Let it be noted. Aamjiwnaang is a very small community, and we are allowed 7 “imports” from other communities. There is also a “1 parent rule” meaning the hockey player does not have to have a status card. The player can play under their parent’s status card number.

If you are interested and meet the 'status' requirement, please contact Michelinne Beausoleil by email at [email protected] for further information.
