Update - Initiation, Tyke & Novice Programs
Submitted By Director of Communications on Wednesday, August 23, 2017
Update on Initiation, Tyke and Novice program for 2017 / 2018 season.

After much discussion, it has been decided that MTMHA will be suspending the Tyke Division for the 2017 / 2018 season.

Therefore, we will be blending the 7 and 8 year olds (players born in 2009 and 2010) into our Novice division and rostering a Rep, AE and 3 Novice Houseleague Teams.

Our Initiation Program (formerly called Tyke) will consist of 3 teams made up of 5 and 6 year olds (players born in 2011 and 2012).  All Initiation Program games will be played “cross ice” and use a blue puck (lighter weight) as per OMHA guidelines.  All Initiation players will still receive 2 hours of ice time per week.

If you have any question please contact MTMHA Director of Houseleague, Ross Carlton at [email protected]
