PeeWee Tri-County Orange ... Silverstick Finalists!
Congratulations to our PeeWee Tri-County Orange team who is coming home today with silver medals in the 2nd Annual Lawrence McGee Silver Stick Tournament.
These boys played a fantastic weekend of hockey going undefeated into today's finals!
They collected 4 straight wins against Lambton Shores Black (7-4), North Middlesex Jr.Stars (7-3), Petrolia Oilers (7-3) & Strathroy Blue Rockets (2-1).
The semi finals went into overtime with Mooretown scoring with 1 minute to go sending them tot he finals!
Mooretown met up an undefeated Point Edward in the finals. After a hard played game Point Edward came out on top with a 5-4 final score.
The coaches would like to give out a special shout out to #8 Samuel Rodey, who scored his 1st goal of the season in the finals today! Way to go!
