Mooretown Minor Hockey is extremely proud to announce the Sally Beggs Memorial Fund.
True to her legacy, Sally was a very active volunteer with Mooretown Hockey as well as President of our Hockey Moms for many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations were asked to be made to MTMHA and further at the request of Sally's family, these funds be used to purchase the required hockey equipment for our players and families that would nominally struggle with these necessities.
It was Sally’s kindness that lead to the strong advocacy to start this fund, and for us to continue to honour her and her many years of service with our association and in the community.
On June 10th, Sally's friends and family presented MTMHA with our first donation and a beautiful plaque in memory of Sally who will be dearly missed and remembered by many associates and friends she made during her short and precious time with us.
