Shamrock League Finalists
The Peewee AE team completed their season last night (Sunday, March 25) by capturing the finaialist position in pool B league play.
After battling back from a 2-0 game deficit and a 2-0 deficit in game three, the Mooretown Peewee AE battled hard and forced a game five in their series against the Wallaceburg Lakers.
In game five they gave Wallaceburg all they could handle proving that the Jr. Flags were the better team. However, a few bounces didn't go our way and the team fell 3-2 in the deciding game.
The finalist position in pool B of the Shamrock League was still well earned. The boys showed that they could work together and each and everyone of them played for the team. Their grit and determination will always be remembered as they battled through out the playoffs right up to the final buzzer of game 5.
The team staff is extremely proud of everyone's commitment to the team and how they all handled themselves with class after a disappointing loss.
It was a great end to the season and everyone should be proud of themselves.
