Tryouts for 2019 / 2020 Season
Tryouts for Mooretown Jr. Flags Rep teams begin Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019
*You must try out for REP if you want to try out for AE.
A table will be set up in the lobby on September 3rd to sign players in for tryouts.
A one time deposit, in the form of a $500 post-dated cheque, is required from every family registered with MTMHA.
This is now returned upon completing 8 hours of volunteer time.

Please note that this fee is to be paid via post-dated cheque at time of TRYOUT. Players will NOT be permitted on the ice until the cheque is received.Players NOT trying out will submit at their respective SORT EVALUATION.
Cheques are to be made payable to MTMHA and dated for January 20, 2020.
For Tryout information applicable to your age group refer to the Tryout Player List page on the associated Rep Team's site.

All registered players will be listed prior to the beginning of tryouts.
All registered players are eligible to participate in the tryout skates (once the tryout fee has been paid).
Eligibility to be rostered to a Rep or AE team is dependent on a player's status within MTMHA and the OMHA.
If your player's name is not listed on the Tryout Player List on the Rep team's site you must contact Connie Rosseel at
[email protected] to confirm registration status.
Player Releases from the Rep and AE teams will be done online.
Be sure to check the Tryout Player List on the Team's site after each tryout for results.
Players whose names are removed from the Rep list are released to the AE team tryouts and will be listed on the AE team's site.
The same online process will be used for AE team tryouts to release players to Four Counties and House League.
Notes for 2019 / 2020:
- Players MUST first be registered with MTMHA, and have paid the Tryout Fee (ONLINE WITH REGISTRATION), in order to participate in Tryouts.
- Players are not required to attend and pay for any Rep or AE tryouts if their intention is to play Four Counties or House League.
- Players are guaranteed two (2) Tryout skates.
- Players may be released from Rep tryouts after Tryout #1. Their guaranteed 2nd skate would be the initial AE tryout.
- Players must attend, and be released from, Rep tryouts in order to be eligible to participate in AE tryouts.
- Players who do not attend Rep tryouts will be rostered directly on a Tri-County or House League team.
- Some divisions may be divided by Surnames (ex: A-L, M-Z) for their first tryout due to a high number of registrants.
- Bantam and Midget tryouts will include body checking.
REMINDER - Parents must complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program if they have not previously done so.
Players cannot be rostered on a team until a parent/guardian has completed the program.
