As you are aware some of these games are cancelled as of right now.
You will still be responsible to do the 50/50, Game sheet and Clock when that game is rescheduled.
If you are unable to make your scheduled time please arrange for someone to cover/switch with you.
Please do not leave it up to the coaching staff to try to find people to do the clock and game sheet at the last minute.
50/50 must be run for each home game or the costs for the referees must be paid out of our team fund.
Instructions:
Clock
Please have the clock ready prior to the beginning of Warm-up.
Warm-Up is 3 minutes long and begins at 5:10pm regardless of whether both teams are on the ice.
Period lengths are 15 minutes. There is a flood between the 2nd and 3rd Periods.
Game Sheet
You are the Official Scorer. Please sign your name where indicated.
The Game Sheet must be filled out using the correct Penalty Codes. They are listed on the back of the sheet.
The referees will review the sheet prior to the start of the game.
After the game the referees will take the sheet with them to the referees room (by the skate sharpening booth) to do their final sign off.
You are to collect the sheet from them there and then give the Visiting Team their copy (pink) and return the remaining copies to the Home team's dressing room.
50/50
Our team has a designated 50/50 bucket with tickets and envelopes. Please pass the bucket on to the next person on the list.
The 50/50 should be set up when you arrive at the arena ~ 1 hour before game time. The Gate person will be able to provide change as needed.
