The Novice Lady Flags C team became the 2018 WOGHL Division
2 playoff champions on Sunday March 25th defeating the Woodstock Wildcats C
team in a best 2 of 3 playoff final series winning game #2 2-0 on the
road in Embro, Ontario.
The lady flags worked hard to get to the finals, winning the
playoff round robin with a record of 6-1-1 and gained home ice advantage for
the final. The girls were tougher, quicker and passed the puck better than any
of their opponents throughout the playoffs this year. They played as a team and
they truly earned the title champions.

This team....oh, this team!
I don't know very many teams that can say that every single player has earned a point by the end of their FIRST league game, but this team has done it!
By the end of their fourth game of the season, and first league game, every out player has notched at least one point on the player stat board. Not to be outdone, our fearless netminder has 2 shutouts under her belt as well.
It may not take a village, but it does takes a whole lotta heart, some fierce play and an incredible amount of teamwork.
Well done ladies, what a great start!
