U18 B, U18 (Mooretown Minor Hockey)

The Jr. Flags were undefeated at the Regional Silverstick Tournament, allowing only 1 goal all tournament and scoring 18 over 4 games. The Mooretown squad vanquished their arch rival, Petrolia with victories over the green squad in the round robin and the final game. The epic clashes, in front of a packed arena, reminded everyone of Harry Potter conquering Voldemort. The Mooretown faithful qualified for International Silverstick to continue to their hockey quest.

The Jr. Flags were undefeated during the U18 "A" Division of the Adam Keunen Memorial tournament, showing small-town heart and determination. They beat the top 'A' ranked team in the tournament, Haldimand River Kings U18 A, twice, with the final victory coming via a 3-0 shutout in the gold medal game. The team played together in harmony, like the sweet sounds of Motown, as they were cheered on by their families and friends.
