First Game!
The Vipers came to P-town ready to play this morning! After many amazing saves by Nathan Sylvester in net, Petrolia managed to pop one by him in the first period. The rest of the period was a fight in their end, but with no scoring. Coming out even harder in the second period, Jeffery Carpenter answered Petrolia with the only goal that period by either side. However, this did not hold very long as Petrolia came back with two quickies in the third making it 3 - 1 for the home team.
But the boys bounced back with a goal by Gavin Fraser, assisted by Garret Glover. Then another by Garret coming from a bank pass by Hunter Oblak. It was a nail biter near the end of the game but Garret, Hunter, Ryan Lavers, Kyle Dupuis, and Avery Morden all worked extra hard fighting the puck out of our end, and with a beauty pass from Garret to Kyle, we managed to get one more goal and secure the victory! Way to go Vipers! Nice way to start the regular season!
