Atom Rep, U11 (Atom), 2019-2020 (Mooretown Minor Hockey)

The Mooretown Junior Flags, Atom Rep team went into the International Silverstick Finals in Forest with one goal. The team wrote a story that will never be forgotten.  They secured the first Atom B International Silverstick for Mooretown.  This was the 3rd straight Atom B regional champ to gain entry into the International Finals.  They dominated their division and vanquished a shootout loss beating Penetang (the #4 B team in Ontario) to win Sunday afternoon’s championship game.  There is no doubt, this is a superhero performance. 

The Mooretown Junior Flags, Atom Rep team entered the Regional Silverstick Atom Tournament with a mission to wrestle a championship back to Mooretown. The Atom Reps were the returning champs but had some adversity to overcome. They dropped 2 close games but emerged with big wins in the elimination games to claim the regional championship for Silverstick! This was a historic win for the Mooretown Minor Hockey Association.  This is the third straight year that the Atom Rep team from Mooretown has won this Regional Silverstick.  

The Mooretown Junior Flags, Atom Rep team entered the Delhi Tobacco Town Tournament. While a name like ‘Tobacco Town’ seems like it was a throwback to the 80s, the Atom Reps embraced their retro tourney and returned champions like Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. They dominated their division and finished undefeated with a big win vs. Dorchester on Sunday afternoon’s championship game.

The Atom Rep team supports the Face Off for Mental Health. Let’s raise awareness and stop the stigma surrounding mental health.

The Mooretown Junior Flags, Atom Rep team went into Muskoka for the first tournament of the season. They returned champions with the gold medals and trophy to prove it. They dominated their division and finished undefeated with a shutout on Sunday afternoon’s championship game.
