Game # 7..Oh Ya !!
It was definitely worth the drive to Blenheim this afternoon as this team is slowly but surely starting to gel..
Again we can't say enough how proud we all are of you boys. Today and last game we showed that we can cycle the puck and advance up the ice , not always all the way but guess what.. Totally the way we have been showing the team @ practice and that shows that our players are for sure paying attention. Fantastic Work Team !!
Reed Mathieson sunk 2 beauty goals today as our players advanced in the 2nd period. 1 unassisted and the other from a pass in the neutral zone by Nic Gerrits. We are happy Reed is feeling better and back @ centre ice as this player had some perfect skill set and landed our team another point on the board and 2 more for Reed. Great work out there by the whole team as the bench was busy rotating shifts and encouraging the players. As 1 of your coaches on the bench, I just would like to say that I am on your players to improve , having said that.. I do not in any way do this in a negative fashion and the atmosphere on that bench is totally Positive. Some times that is the best time to correct any players actions on the ice so it Does get pretty intense...I love it and I want your players to love the game as well and thats what it all about.
Nolan had a stellar performance as well today keeping his mind set and confidence at a steady pace as he faced 17-20 shots on net again. What can I say buddy but every game your consistently playing well and really are the backbone of our awesome team.
Samuel Rodey wore the Golden Jersey home today and for good reason .. Sammy fought for the puck and managed a little bust out on the left side to advanced the puck into Blenheims house.. And for that Samuel Rodey should be extremely happy. Having been on the bench before with John Rodey , its nice to see hime getting more excited than me for once..lol.. it really can be a turning point in a players hockey life when he gains confidence. Keep up the great work !!
The team is starting to understand the strategy of hockey and it really is very simple once your comfort zone and confidence build up , and man we can see it coming more and more each time we get on the ice... We are starting to gel and not only as a team but as friends. This is perfect and thats exactly what we need to keep going .. Keep up the great team spirit.
A couple of Team news issues. I have managed to get all team pics and info up on the players roster, please check it out , if theres any changes need to be made please let me know . I felt the pictures were good(not quite what I was looking for but..lol.).. If anyone would like a different pic thats fine , or if I messed up the write up please get a hold of me ok. Also have managed to get our EAP matrix up ,, but still need those slots filled in for Control People , Call people, and we will train people for the timesheet and clock. I am asking for you look at the dates /times and see what slot works for your family. Then let me know asap.
Tournaments tab is also available now but not quite posted yet.. I am working on that today and eventually we can create a library of team pics would be cool. Anyhow see everyone at Mooretown tomorrow as we take on Atom Black @ 3:35 on R#2.
