A Ton of hard work and determination out on the ice today as both Mooretown Atom TC Jr.Flag teams faced off against each other ..
24 players stepped on the ice today all with their game faces on as ALL Jr.Flags showed up to play. It was a back and forth game with a few bust outs , but mostly a great Defensive play would stop both teams. This was a very close game for the first 2 and a half periods, and a valiant effort by both teams. But as most of our games we seem to come out strong in the third period and we managed to take our first win of the season.. Fantastic Work Team !!
Reed Mathieson... "HATRICK"... Reed defiantly means business every time he's on the ice not only creating his own special moves, but setting up other plays in front of the net as a few of our players almost managed a nice rebound chance today as that puck was totally dangling in front of their net a few times today.There was some awesome passing and assisting today by..Patrick Brown,,Devon Zink,, Daden Sheldon.. all these assists coming off the sticks of a determined player, Confidence and determination.. Keep It Up Everyone !!
I always say that Good things happen if your in front of that net with your stick down and Jack Font found that out today scoring from a beauty bouncy rebound wrist'r that landed deep in that net..OMG..I cant say enough how cool that was , I think I was more excited than Jack .. Great job Jack..Picture Perfect ...Needless to say he walked away with the "Golden Jersey" today.. And he looked pretty excited so I took his picture ... And I though maybe I will make a Team Pic Folder and start posting them each week...So I did and it will be up tonight.
I dont wanna sound like a broken record each week,, But I cant help saying that we are defiantly doing great and it will only get better. We will always be challenging our players more and more each time we get on the ice. I have a great feeling about our team and I hope we all feel the same ..Keep Up The Great Team Spirit !!
Just a reminder picture day next weekend @ 11:10 AM.. Before we take on the South West Bullets Im sure its gonna be "SPOOKtacular".. cant wait. Please be punctual as we need to be on time and give your self enough to make this happen ok .
