Atom Girls, 2012-2013 (Mooretown Minor Hockey)

The girls once again proved that South Huron was no match for them.

What should have been an even match up would turn out to be a runaway for the St. Clair girls.  Our defence rarely let the puck past Kent County's blue line.

Just another South Huron Sunday.

There were clear skies for South Huron on the drive to Mooretown, but there was a "Storm" waiting for them in the arena.

Makayla would start the scoring in the first period with 1:53 on the clock.  Makayla would again score with 4:19 left in the second, leaving the period with a 2-0 lead for the Storm.  The third period would see Blenheim fight back, scoring twice to tie it up. The Storm girls were relentless with their shots on net throughout the entire game. If not for great goaltending by the Blenheim netminder this game would have been a runaway for our girls.
