Caught in the Storm
There were clear skies for South Huron on the drive to Mooretown, but there was a "Storm" waiting for them in the arena.
The scoring would start quickly in the first period by Makayla with only 42 seconds off of the clock. The second goal of the game would be compliments of Jaime, with a rocket from the blue line. 2-0 for the Storm after one period of play. The pace of the second period would be much the same with goals by Makayla, Lili and Taylor for a 5-0 lead after two periods of play. Keeping the momentum going in the third Taylor would score two more goals giving her the hat trick. The game would end with a 7-0 win for the Storm and give Kylie another shutout for the season.
