First Game Vs Dresden
September 17th started Mooretown Bantam Rep’s
year with its first game of the season in Dresden. Mooretown wasted no time in the first period
taking advantage of a 5 on 3 power play. Cameron Crowley intercepted the puck at our
blue line and skated it down for an unassisted goal. Dresden came back with a power play goal of
their own in the second period. The game
remained tied until the third period when a Dresden defenseman fired a shot from
the top of the circle through traffic that deflected in. Mooretown wasn’t without several chances to
tie or win the game. Two shots hit the post
coming from Reis and Cameron. Colin
played a solid game making several great saves.
