Game 11 vs Wallaceburg Lakers 1
Today’s game was played in Mooretown where Thomas Gerrits would wear the 3rd A for his hard skating and teamwork against West Lorne Gold which deserved him 2 assists and some awesome scoring opportunities.  Keep it up Thomas!!

Today’s game would feature the 2 top teams in our division that would compete in a matchup to see who would take control of first place.  Both teams were undefeated entering the game.

Before the game the coaching staff talked about the importance of passing and moving the puck to multiple players down the length of the ice to create scoring opportunities.

Mooretown Red went down 1-0 early in the game and could never quite come back.  Goals were scored back and forth but Mooretown would eventually end up 2 goals short at the final buzzer.

After the game, the coaching staff reminded our team that carrying the puck the length of the ice and scoring on your own is going to be unlikely against the more experienced teams.

Mooretown Red would like to thank the Lakers team for playing such a clean and disciplined game of hockey against us today.  Congratulations to the Wallaceburg 1 players and coaching staff on the well deserved win today.

Goals today for Mooretown were scored by Dylan Dupuis and Aden Bogaert.
