Tournament Game 4-Storm vs Lakers
The Storm faced off against the unbeaten Wallaceburg Lakers with a valuable two points on the line.
Both goalies got a workout early and were holding their own but no one else for the Storm seemed to be able to find their wheels and as a result were being outskated by the opponent. The Lakers struck first pocketing one to take lead which seemed to put Mooretown back on their feet further. Their play was choppy and no one seemed to want to pass the puck to create the scoring chances needed to win the game. The Lakers would seal it with another one in the third and the Storm just couldn't muster the gusto to match the grit and determination of their opposition.
The Novice Rep now sits in a holding pattern awaiting the outcome of the Erie North Shore and Clarington games to see who moves on to the final.
