After a well deserved win last weekend against a fantastic goalie and the Blenheim team. The Tri-County Chargers returned to Mooretown to host Blenheim in the second game of their home and home series.
After a well deserved win last weekend against a fantastic goalie and the Blenheim team. The Tri-County Chargers returned to Mooretown to host Blenheim in the second game of their home and home series.
The boys were not interested in being welcoming host and they came out of the gate ready to play.
The coaches game plan was simple, the team needed to get back to basics and start moving the puck east and west and finding the open ice. All players took the coaches' pre-game message and ran with it. The puck movement was right on point and Mooretown found they had more room to skate and shoot. The passes were crisp and the boys movement with out the puck was right on point. This proved to be a very entertaining game with Mooretown coming out on top when the final buzzer sounded.
With four straight wins to start the playoffs the Mooretown Chargers sit a top the standings as their quest for a championship continues. Keep up the hard work boys.
